Julie Kehrens, Manager of the Account Support Team at Brand Masters has put significant effort into implementing EazyStock in her company. Not only she has been heading up the implementation, but she has had a big influence on updating processes within Brand Masters. Combining EazyStock with a new strategy and improved processes helps Brand Masters get ready for the next steps for future growth.
That’s why she’s awarded EazyStock’s Automation Hero in December!
Name: Julie Kehrens
Title: Manager of the Account Support Team
Company: Brand Masters
Congratulations on winning the award, Julie! Can you please tell us a little about yourself, where you work and what your role is?
Thank you! At Brand Masters we distribute food and drinks throughout Europe and beyond – to both suppliers and end consumers. I’ve improved commercial and operational processes in our supply chain with our key customers. Through these efforts, I gained a broad knowledge of our business which really helped me when I became project owner of implementing EazyStock.
What “red flags” made you realise that you needed to invest in an automation solution?
The complexity that comes with a growing number of suppliers, customers and variety of products, all with their individual needs and standards. The business we operate in is fast growing and demanding, and naturally we want to stay one step ahead by keeping up with software developments.
How has your work changed since you implemented EazyStock?
With EazyStock’s algorithms, reorder quantities are constantly updated based on ever-changing customer demand. This automated process enables us to more accurately anticipate upcoming demand. Also, purchase orders are now flowing automatically through our ERP system which saves time and boosts accuracy.
How has automation with EazyStock helped Brand Masters?
EazyStock has allowed us to reduce the amount of manual tasks we undertake and given us total transparency of our stock items – we’re no longer ‘looking for a needle in a haystack’. We’ve also realised how important master data is for accuracy and the need to improve internal processes to allow the software to maximise ROI.
What other tools do you use for automation?
We have a warehouse management system and use Microsoft NAV as our ERP system.
What do you think about the future of automation?
As our business continues to grow, we simply cannot work without automation. Automation and software solutions are paramount; they strengthen the collaborations with our partners and service to our customers.
Thank you Julie and congratulations again!
