Topa reduces stock while increasing turnover with EazyStock

Topa has been providing a large business network of commercial total bathroom concepts for more than 15 years. Within this growing network, they serve a diverse customer base, from specialist bathroom shops and installation companies to project organizations.

From the distribution centre in Tiel, they supply the whole of the Netherlands and Belgium, often with next-day delivery (with EazyStock’s help).

Topa started using EazyStock through a connection to their Visma ERP system. They have since changed to Microsoft 365 Business Central, so the switch was made using EazyStock’s ready-made connector, which saved a lot of time and removed a lot of challenges.

Bryan van Ingen has been with Topa for a long time and knows the processes like nobody else. Before they used EazyStock to predict sales and generate purchase orders, Topa mainly used Excel. Due to the challenges of using Excel, Topa started looking for software that would improve productivity. They also wanted to be able to work proactively instead of reactively and optimize their business processes.

Another key benefit since implementing EazyStock is that while Topa has reduced the amount of stock they hold, they have increased turnover. This is because EazyStock enables more accurate demand forecasts and replenishment strategies, so they hold more of the right stock they know will sell.

Before EazyStock’s implementation, there were two buyers at Topa. One of these positions is now vacant, but with EazyStock, the role is changing. With more efficient inventory management processes, the second buyer will have the time to focus mainly on supplier negotiation and development to maintain growth.
